DIY Palm Tree Party Favors

Palm trees + summertime go together like sun + sand...they're the perfect combo!

With all of the summer parties on the horizon, I thought it would be fun to share with you a super cute, realllly easy DIY Palm Tree Favor Idea.

These favors are perfect for practically anything...bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, retirement parties...even weddings!  

You may recognize them from my Tropical Bridal Shower Brunch, or from the Tropical Bar Cart post I shared recently.  (If you missed those posts, be sure to check them out...there's some serious eye candy tucked inside)!

Ready to learn how to make these babies?  Let's do it!  

You'll Need:

• Palm tree favor containers (these clear ones are no longer available, but you may be able to use these)


• Rustoleum spray paint


• Pink chocolate candies or filler

Start with these clear plastic palm tree containers from Oriental Trading, then spray paint the lids with the color(s) of your choosing.

I love using Rustoleum spray paints because they cover well and dry quickly.  Two quick coats (with a short drying period in between), and these were done!

You could definitely paint the bottom portions, too, if you want, but I wanted the goodies inside to show through and add some color contrast/visual interest.  

Just be sure to paint the outside surfaces only...you don't want to spray paint a surface that will be holding anything edible.  

Once your surfaces are dry, fill the containers with your choice of goodies. 

I wanted the favors to match my party decor, so I chose pink chocolate candies from Oriental Trading.  How adorable do they look with these Fancy That gold-foiled napkins?!!

This is how they look incorporated into our Tropical Bridal Shower Brunch.  So cute, right?  And soooooo incredibly easy!  Told ya!
